Oak Ridge North, TX · Serving The Woodlands, Spring & Conroe

Why The Pod

Work that teaches something a child keeps for life.

We are a year-round indoor swim school, so this is steady work in warm water, not a summer-only job. Our instructors are trained in water survival methods and supported by a team that takes teaching seriously.

Year-round work

Indoor heated pools mean steady hours through every season, not a summer-only schedule.

Training provided

We train you in our water survival methods and level progressions before you teach on your own.

Real impact

You are teaching a life skill. Families remember the instructor who got their child water safe.

A team that backs you

Small ratios, experienced leads on deck and support when a lesson gets challenging.

What we look for

Patience first. We will teach you the rest.

Prior teaching experience is welcome but not required. What we cannot train is temperament, so we start there and build the skills around it.

Patience with children who are nervous in the water, and the calm to work at their pace
Reliability. Families build their week around lesson times, so consistent attendance matters
Comfort and confidence in the water yourself
Willingness to be trained in our methods rather than teaching your own way
Respect for swimmers, parents and fellow staff, the same standard we teach our students
